The Bac Ninh Provincial Military Command is stepping up the application of information technology.

On March 2-3, the Bac Ninh Provincial Military Command organized the 2026 training commencement ceremony and launched a high-intensity emulation campaign to celebrate the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and the election of deputies to the People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term. Lieutenant General La Cong Phuong, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Political Commissar of Military Region 1, attended and directed the ceremony.

In 2026, the Bac Ninh Provincial Military Command has set the training motto "Basic, practical, and solid," focusing on comprehensive, in-depth training that is relevant to the mission and locality; prioritizing practical application, linking military training with political education, discipline training, and building a regular and orderly system. Training content will concentrate on improving the quality of each target group, especially officers at all levels; practicing combat readiness plans; disaster prevention and control, search and rescue; innovating training methods, promoting the application of information technology, and improving training models and equipment; and ensuring absolute safety of personnel and weapons and equipment.

Speaking at the training commencement ceremony, Lieutenant General La Cong Phuong instructed that in 2026, the armed forces of Bac Ninh province should continue to thoroughly understand the Party's military and national defense viewpoints and guidelines; strictly maintain the combat readiness duty regime; closely manage personnel, weapons and equipment; organize practical and effective training, combat the disease of achieving superficial results; and be determined to successfully complete the training tasks for the year.

At the ceremony, delegates toured models of teaching aids and technical innovations, and witnessed the signing of emulation agreements between units, creating a vibrant atmosphere of competition and determination to build strong and comprehensive provincial armed forces, meeting the requirements of local defense and military tasks in the new situation.
