The Ministry of Education and Training continues to strengthen the management of extracurricular tutoring activities.

NDO - The Ministry of Education and Training has recently issued a document requesting the People's Committees of provinces and cities to continue to vigorously implement tasks and take full responsibility for the enrollment of junior and senior high school students and the management of extracurricular tutoring activities in their respective areas.

Previously, on March 28th, the Ministry of Education and Training held an online conference to evaluate the management of extracurricular tutoring according to Circular No. 29/2024/TT-BGDĐT issued on December 30, 2024, and the enrollment process for the first grade, as well as the organization of the 2025 high school graduation exam.

However, the Ministry assessed that some localities have not seriously implemented the regulations on the reporting time for the implementation of Circular No. 29.

Seven provinces submitted their reports late compared to the regulations: Quang Ninh, Dak Lak, Dong Nai, Tien Giang , Tay Ninh, Vinh Phuc, and Ba Ria-Vung Tau.

In addition, many localities are still struggling with implementation because they have not yet issued regulations on the management of extracurricular tutoring within their jurisdiction.

To further strengthen state management of education and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of management, the Ministry of Education and Training requests the People's Committees of provinces and centrally-administered cities to continue to implement synchronously and decisively the tasks and take full responsibility for the enrollment of junior high and high school students and the management of extracurricular tutoring activities in their respective areas.

At the same time, promptly report to the Ministry of Education and Training any problems or difficulties encountered during the implementation of the above-mentioned contents.

According to reports, in order to strengthen guidance on junior high school and high school enrollment and the management of extracurricular tutoring, the Ministry of Education and Training recently conducted inspections in six localities, including Hanoi, Quang Tri, Hai Phong, Bac Giang, Thai Binh, and Ho Chi Minh City.
