The Ministry of Education and Training continues to strengthen management of extra teaching and learning activities.

Previously, on March 28, the Ministry of Education and Training held an online conference to evaluate the management of extra teaching and learning according to Circular No. 29/2024/TT-BGDDT issued on December 30, 2024 and the work of primary school enrollment and organization of high school graduation exams in 2025.

However, the Ministry assessed that some localities have not seriously implemented the regulations on reporting time on the implementation of Circular No. 29.

Up to 7 provinces submitted reports later than the regulations: Quang Ninh, Dak Lak, Dong Nai, Tien Giang, Tay Ninh, Vinh Phuc and Ba Ria-Vung Tau.

Besides, many localities are still confused in implementation because they have not issued documents regulating the management of extra teaching and learning according to their authority.

To continue to strengthen state management of education and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of management work, the Ministry of Education and Training requests that the People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities continue to synchronously and resolutely carry out tasks and take full responsibility for the work of enrolling students in junior high schools and high schools and managing extra teaching and learning activities in the area.

At the same time, promptly report to the Ministry of Education and Training any problems and difficulties in the implementation of the above contents.

According to information, in order to strengthen the direction of junior high school and high school enrollment and management of extra teaching and learning activities, the Ministry of Education and Training recently conducted inspections in 6 localities, including: Hanoi, Quang Tri, Hai Phong, Bac Giang, Thai Binh and Ho Chi Minh City.
