Ignite the faith of youth.

The Youth Union, in coordination with the Veterans Association of Vinh Hoa Hung commune, recently organized a traditional talk that attracted many young people. The moving stories about the courage and selfless sacrifices of previous generations helped young people better understand the value of independence, freedom, and the nation's tenacious struggle, thereby fostering their ideals and sense of responsibility towards their homeland.

According to Ms. Duong Thi Bich Quyen, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Hoa Hung commune and Secretary of the Vinh Hoa Hung Commune Youth Union, educating young people on revolutionary ideals, ethics, and cultural lifestyles is a key task. The Vinh Hoa Hung Commune Youth Union implements this through various activities such as visiting historical sites, thematic discussions, meeting with historical witnesses, giving gifts to families of policy beneficiaries, and lighting candles in gratitude to heroic martyrs; constantly innovating content and methods to improve effectiveness. Through these activities, young people develop strong political convictions, live beautiful and useful lives, and contribute their youthful energy to building a prosperous and beautiful homeland.

Vinh Hoa Hung Commune has 1,384 young people residing in the locality, with 606 members participating in activities across 39 youth union branches. The commune's Youth Union has extensively implemented political and ideological education for its members. The study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, and style have been promoted, becoming an important and regular task for the youth union members. Following the motto of learning from and emulating Uncle Ho in the smallest and most practical things in life, the youth union members carry out specific projects and tasks, promoting the pioneering and volunteer spirit of young people. Each youth union branch registers at least one youth project related to the specific characteristics of the locality.

The spirit of "Wherever youth are needed, youth will be there; whatever is difficult, youth will overcome it" has been continued by generations of Youth Union members in the commune like an inexhaustible source, demonstrated through their efforts to overcome poverty; their dynamism, creativity, pioneering spirit, and volunteer participation in various movements and campaigns. From these movements and campaigns, many exemplary young people have emerged in various fields, creating a ripple effect that helps Youth Union members continue to train, strive, learn, and perform their duties better. In all fields, the youth of Vinh Hoa Hung are a powerful, pioneering, and creative force, making a significant contribution to the socio-economic development of the locality.

Contributing the energy of youth to building the homeland.

Implementing the movement "Youth of Vinh Hoa Hung join hands to build advanced new rural areas," the Commune Youth Union participates in many activities, regularly organizing campaigns to clean up the environment, remove illegal advertisements and flyers, beautify the landscape, build green, clean, beautiful, and safe road sections, and promote youth self-management of security and order. In 2025, the Commune Youth Union, in coordination with the leadership of hamlets 1A, Ta Quang Ty, hamlet 11 and the market management board, organized 8 campaigns to collect more than 250kg of waste, combined with raising awareness of environmental protection among residents and traders.

The Vinh Hoa Hung Commune Youth Union launched 8 "Green Sunday" campaigns, with over 450 young volunteers participating. The branches coordinated with hamlet leaders to plant 6,300 trees of various types; 5 youth nurseries with 15,000 bougainvillea plants were established in the hamlets. Young volunteers participated in ensuring traffic order and safety, maintaining volunteer youth teams to promote traffic safety, provide first aid, and respond quickly to traffic accidents, with 27 members. They also effectively promoted the "Safe Ferry Crossing" and "Safe School Gate" models at 8 schools...

The Vinh Hoa Hung Commune Youth Union implements activities to create an environment for its members and young people to develop their creativity and master science and technology in their studies, work, and production. With a spirit of initiative, creativity, and a desire to contribute to achieving tourism development goals in the area, the Commune Youth Union undertakes projects applying digital transformation in promoting historical sites within the commune. Youth Union members in the commune are pioneers in digital transformation, demonstrating a proactive spirit and actively supporting the access and application of digital technology in daily life, contributing to improved labor productivity and quality of life.

The Youth Union deeply demonstrates its pioneering spirit and sense of responsibility, joining hands to care for policy beneficiary families and those who have rendered meritorious services through specific and practical movements and activities. Along with that, volunteer activities caring for and supporting people, ethnic minority youth in hamlets, religious youth, and disadvantaged youth are given attention by the Executive Committee of the Vinh Hoa Hung Commune Youth Union, contributing to ensuring social welfare in the area. In 2025, the Commune Youth Union coordinated the donation of nearly 2,000 gifts to policy beneficiary families, former youth volunteers, people, and students in difficult circumstances in the commune.

Nguyen Hoang Giang, a youth union member from Hamlet 7, shared: “These practical activities and movements create an environment for the youth of Vinh Hoa Hung commune to continue to train, improve their skills, and effectively contribute to volunteer movements for community life, helping to build a more developed homeland.”
