The Public Security Forces' table tennis team wins gold again.

In the final match, the two players from the T&T Police Club defeated the pair Bui The Nghia – Nguyen Dang Hiep (Army team) with a convincing 3-1 victory (set scores were 11-4, 8-11, 11-3, 12-10).

Thus, the duo of Dinh Anh Hoang and Le Dinh Duc successfully defended their men's doubles title at the 43rd Nhan Dan Newspaper National Table Tennis Championship in 2025. This also marks the sixth time this pair has won the national men's doubles championship. This victory not only helps the CAND T&T Club maintain its position in the men's doubles category, but also affirms the consistent performance and top-tier national level of the pair Dinh Anh Hoang and Le Dinh Duc.

Earlier on May 22nd, Dinh Anh Hoang and Le Dinh Duc also made significant contributions to helping the T&T Police Club win the gold medal in the men's team event. SEA Games champion Dinh Anh Hoang defeated the young talent Do Manh Luong from Hanoi Club, while Le Dinh Duc created a "shock" at the tournament by defeating the current number one male tennis player in Vietnam, Nguyen Anh Tu, with a score of 3-0 (11-7, 13-11, 12-10).

The victories of Dinh Anh Hoang and Le Dinh Duc helped their teammate Ta Hong Khanh enter the final match with a relaxed mindset. The T&T Police Club player also had no difficulty winning 3-0 (11-9, 11-6, 11-5) against opponent Do Tuan Kiet.

Following directives from the leadership of Nhan Dan Newspaper and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Department of Sports and Physical Education, and the Organizing Committee of the 43rd Nhan Dan Newspaper National Table Tennis Championship 2025, the tournament has decided to suspend competition on May 24th and 25th. The tournament will resume and conclude on the evening of May 26th.

The closing ceremony is scheduled to take place on the evening of May 26th.

Previously, on May 22nd, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued a directive regarding the lowering of flags to half-mast and the prohibition of public entertainment activities during the State Funeral of Comrade Tran Duc Luong, former President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
