In the final match, two players from the CAND T&T Club defeated the pair Bui The Nghia - Nguyen Dang Hiep (Army team) with a convincing score of 3-1 (the scores of the sets were 11-4, 8-11, 11-3, 12-10 respectively).
Thus, the duo Dinh Anh Hoang and Le Dinh Duc continued to successfully defend the championship title in the men's doubles event at the 43rd National Table Tennis Championship of Nhan Dan Newspaper in 2025. This is also the 6th time that this pair of athletes has won the national men's doubles event. This victory not only helps the CAND T&T Club continue to maintain its position in the men's doubles event, but also affirms the stable performance and national top class of the pair Dinh Anh Hoang and Le Dinh Duc.
Previously on May 22, Dinh Anh Hoang and Le Dinh Duc also contributed greatly to helping CAND T&T Club win the Gold medal in the men's team event. In which, SEA Games champion Dinh Anh Hoang overcame the young talent of Hanoi Club, Do Manh Luong, while Le Dinh Duc created an "earthquake" at the tournament when he defeated the current number 1 male tennis player in Vietnam, Nguyen Anh Tu, with a score of 3-0 (11-7, 13-11, 12-10).
The victory of Dinh Anh Hoang and Le Dinh Duc helped his teammate Ta Hong Khanh enter the final match with a comfortable mentality. The player from CAND T&T Club also had no difficulty winning 3-0 (11-9, 11-6, 11-5) against his opponent Do Tuan Kiet.
* Following the direction of the leaders of Nhan Dan Newspaper and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Department of Physical Training and Sports, the Organizing Committee of the 43rd Nhan Dan Newspaper National Table Tennis Championship 2025 decided to stop the competition on May 24 and 25. The tournament will resume and close on the evening of May 26.
The closing ceremony is expected to take place on the evening of May 26.
