On April 18, Editor Quang Minh worked with the Department of Radio, Television and Electronic Information under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism about the milk advertisement video.
He provided full documentation with a cooperative attitude, admitted the advertising violations and would be responsible for these violations.
However, BTV affirmed that it did not advertise fake milk and was not involved in any fake milk brands in the production and consumption chain of 573 fake milk powder brands that were busted by authorities on April 12.
In recent days, the internet and social networks have seen a series of headlines and articles containing the content "BTV Quang Minh advertises fake milk" or causing confusion by using his image in articles about fake milk.
According to Quang Minh, this situation seriously affects his reputation and work; it affects the psychology of those who trust him, especially his children.

"The most heartbreaking thing is that it is directly affecting my children's spirit. Today, when I picked him up from school, my son told me that his friends said I advertised fake milk. Just a few sentences like that made my heart ache. I have to speak up because I am a father. I can handle the pressure and gossip, but my children should not and do not deserve to bear that," he said.
Quang Minh emphasized that when receiving advertisements, he fully checked all documents such as: advertising license, microbiological testing, standard ingredient testing, production license, standard factory...
"All documents are licensed by competent authorities and in accordance with current laws. The video script was also provided to me by the brand to ensure correct brand information. Up to this point, no authority has concluded that the product is fake," he wrote.
Editor Quang Minh also said that his son's appearance in the video was requested by the brand; he agreed because his son actually uses this product.
Quang Minh added: "I completely understand the feelings of parents, especially those who have watched the videos and trusted me to buy them for their children to use. If they heard the information about 'advertising fake milk', surely everyone would be confused and extremely worried. It is natural to be angry with me. It is the same for me, so I completely understand and cannot justify. I am extremely miserable when thinking about this.
However, I do not support fake milk, and I will never trade my family or my honor for anything in the world. I do not want to confront public opinion or argue, I just hope everyone will stay calm, listen to many sides and not rush to judge before the matter is clarified."
