During these exam days, each meal at the school's canteen becomes an incredibly important "support station." With nearly 400 meals served each day, the canteen operates at full capacity to ensure that boarding students receive the most delicious and nutritious meals. The menu is carefully planned by the chefs, diverse and rich, including protein-rich dishes such as chicken, fish, beef, and pork, harmoniously combined with fresh green vegetables, ensuring a sufficient supply of essential vitamins and minerals.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Diep, a cook with many years of experience, shared about the meticulousness in each preparation step: "The health of our children is our top priority. We always source food from reputable suppliers with complete contracts and clear invoices, ensuring origin and quality. From vegetables and fruits to meat and fish, everything must be fresh, delicious, and meet food safety and hygiene standards."
What made the school cafeteria in the "city in the mist" so special and touching during this year's exam season was the appearance of "little chefs"—younger students who volunteered to help. Beyond simply assisting with the work, their presence brought a positive energy, spreading a spirit of unity and sharing throughout the school.
Vang Thi Tuyet Nhung, a student in class 10A2, explained her reason for joining the volunteer team: "I see that the 12th-grade students are working hard and have to travel far from home for exams. Therefore, I want to contribute a small part to help them have delicious meals and enough energy to do well in the exams. I think that when I can help someone, I also feel very happy."
It is known that from early morning, Tuyet Nhung and her friends were present in the kitchen, helping the cooks pick vegetables, wash food, and prepare the tables... Each of these small tasks was done by the children with enthusiasm and meticulousness.
Along with the volunteer team, Thào Ngọc Hoàng, a student from class 11A1, demonstrated maturity and thoughtfulness in her thinking: "This is a very important exam for the students. We feel very happy and proud to contribute alongside the cafeteria staff in preparing delicious and nutritious meals for the students taking the exam. Even though it's just small tasks like preparing bowls and chopsticks, carrying food, I believe that these small contributions will help the candidates feel cared for and encouraged, so they can achieve good results in the exam."
The small gestures and simple yet sincere words of the younger students created a warm and close atmosphere, like a big family. This affection not only demonstrated the care between generations of students but also served as proof of the spirit of "mutual support and compassion" that is always preserved and promoted in the boarding school environment.

The meals served in the school canteen of the Sa Pa Town Ethnic Boarding Secondary and High School are not simply about providing nutrition, but also embody love, responsibility, and hope.
With quality meals, sincere encouragement, and enthusiastic support from the "junior chefs," it is hoped that the boarding students at this school will have enough health and a strong spirit to pass the 2025 high school graduation exam with the best possible results, bringing well-deserved achievements to themselves, their families, and the school.
