Glorious summer

As part of the 2024 tourism stimulus activities "Quang Nam - Green Land of Heritage," the Quang Nam International Kite Festival 2024 will take place from July 27-29, 2024, at the beach near the Hoiana resort (Tay Son Tay hamlet, Duy Hai commune, Duy Xuyen district).

The festival features kite teams from 13 countries and territories: India, South Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, China, Australia, Vietnam, Taiwan (China), and Hong Kong (China).

The teams collectively presented spectacular artistic kite-flying performances featuring approximately 100 different types of kites, along with a colorful kite display area.

Steven Wolstenholme, Chairman and CEO of Hoiana, stated that with meticulous investment, Hoiana promises to offer visitors a festival space that perfectly combines kite art with top-class entertainment and recreational activities.

Beyond just artistic kite displays, visitors can also enjoy spectacular magic shows and fire dancing performances, along with many other impressive activities.

Stimulating tourism demand

The Quang Nam International Kite Festival 2024 is an international event on kite art held in Quang Nam, serving as a platform for exchange, sharing, preservation, and promotion of kite flying and kite-making art among artisans from all over Vietnam and the world. Furthermore, it is expected to add new vibrancy to attract tourists to Quang Nam.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Dung suggested that tourists attending the kite festival in Hoiana could arrange their time to visit many famous destinations in Quang Nam that are not far from Hoiana, such as the Hoi An Ancient Town heritage site, My Son Sanctuary, Cu Lao Cham - Hoi An World Biosphere Reserve, and the Monument to the Heroic Vietnamese Mother…

At the same time, enjoy traditional folk art forms such as Bài Chòi singing, and explore the tourism and culinary treasures of this region to gain a deeper understanding of Quang Nam.
