Duong Tue An, a student from Duy Son Primary School, said that in this year's competition, class 5C participated in the artistic book arrangement contest with the theme "Proud of Da Nang - Towards Hoang Sa". "I am very happy and excited because the book festival helps us to understand more deeply the importance of books, and also supplements our knowledge for our studies," Tue An shared.
According to teacher Nguyen Truong Son, Principal of Duy Son Primary School, with a maximum of 30 books and unlimited creativity, the students created incredibly unique models of bridges of knowledge. Each model is not just a physical structure, but also a story about patriotism and national pride, and the aspiration to rise in the new era.

Through their inspiring presentations, the students recreated the glorious history of the Great Victory of Spring 1975, the reunification of the country, praised President Ho Chi Minh, and affirmed the sacred sovereignty of the Fatherland's seas and islands. Books, at this moment, are not just for reading, but have become the material for cultivating love for their homeland.
“Alongside the intellectual space is the vibrant world of painting with the ‘Creative Book Cover Design for My Favorite Book’ painting competition. Each student, representing their class, is free to choose a favorite book and redesign the cover according to their own perspective and creative thinking. This is not only an artistic competition but also a bridge to help students connect more closely with knowledge, contributing to building a reading habit and cultivating character through the beauty of painting,” Mr. Son said.
Meanwhile, Duy Trung Primary School enthusiastically organized a reading festival with the theme "Knowledge from the Pages of Books." It began with the launch of the "Da Nang Reading Culture Ambassador" competition for 2026, attracting significant interest and participation from students. This was followed by the "Knowledge from the Pages of Books" competition for students in grades 1, 2, and 3 – where they could demonstrate their understanding and love for books and stories.

According to Mr. Le Anh Tuan, Deputy Principal of Duy Trung Primary School, the "Golden Bell" quiz competition for 4th and 5th graders was lively and exciting, with questions revolving around library knowledge and daily life. Students participated with enthusiasm, confidence, and teamwork, creating a joyful and enriching atmosphere.
Through this event, the school hopes to ignite a passion for reading in students, gradually fostering self-learning habits, enhancing thinking and communication skills, and promoting holistic development. It aims to contribute to building and spreading a reading culture within the school, transforming the act of picking up a book from a chore into a passion and a beautiful aspect of children's lives.
