Opening Ceremony of the Da Nang Book Festival in Tra My Commune

DNO - On the evening of May 31st, the People's Committee of Tra My commune, in coordination with the Da Nang City Library, inaugurated the Da Nang Book Festival 2026.

The Da Nang Book Festival 2026 will have the theme "Spreading the culture of reading - Connecting knowledge - Developing a learning society".

The festival featured 10 booths and book displays from various organizations, associations, and schools in Tra My commune, with activities including: an exhibition of information resources, paintings, and documentary photographs commemorating the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2026); and a display of winning entries from the Reading Culture Ambassador competition over the years.

In addition, there are activities to promote reading culture such as: promoting and introducing books, exploring history and holding quizzes with prizes; organizing mobile multimedia library services; and physical games and quizzes related to books.

Launching a campaign to support books for libraries and community book collections; organizing cultural and artistic exchange programs and activities to promote reading culture, as well as providing opportunities to experience various relaxing and entertaining activities within the Book Festival grounds.
