The sound of the festival drums resounded in the yard of Thon Don Pagoda, mixed with the excited cheers of people and tourists coming from everywhere. The third Rach Gia Ward mini-ngo boat race (expanded) for the Thon Don Pagoda Cup in 2025 created an attractive sports and cultural festival. The compact but powerful ngo boats glided on the water, carrying the determination and competitive spirit of the swimmers from 42 mini-ngo boat teams of An Giang province and Can Tho city.
Not only a competition for achievements, the tournament is also an opportunity for Khmer people and ethnic communities to preserve and promote the beauty of long-standing traditions. Through each thrilling moment on the race track, the spirit of solidarity, cultural pride and community attachment are strongly spread. All contribute to creating a bustling, rich-in-identity festival picture right in the heart of Rach Gia ward.

People and tourists crowded at Thon Don Pagoda, creating a bustling festival atmosphere with many colors of Khmer culture.

The organizers awarded first prize to the boat team of Xa Xiem Cu pagoda, marking the third consecutive time the team won the highest position at this tournament.

This year's tournament attracted 42 teams from pagodas, villages and hamlets inside and outside the province, creating an exciting tournament.

The mini dragon boat teams compete fiercely, each graceful rowing stroke blends with the urging drumbeats and cheers of encouragement.

The race became more exciting in the final meters, as the teams tried their best to cross the finish line first.
