Breakthrough, sublimate with fashion

The third night of Vietnam International Fashion Week Spring Summer - Aquafina Vietnam International Fashion Week 2025 continued to light up the runway at Nguyen Du Stadium (HCMC) bringing a feast for the eyes with eye-catching fashion shows. Impressive shows from designers Dang Trong Minh Chau, Ivan Tran, Vuong Khang, Thanh Huong Bui and the fashion brand from Indonesia - STUDIOMORAL attracted attention.

Designer Dang Trong Minh Chau stunned the audience on the evening of June 7 when he stepped out of the “safe zone” of Ao Dai for the first time to reach a new creative space – where evening gowns and cocktail dresses reign alongside Ao Dai designs with a contemporary visual spirit. The Illusion Collection demonstrates this bold transformation: a fascinating visual game, where the boundary between reality and fantasy is blurred by dramatic fashion language.

The collection features a series of designs that apply modern techniques such as heat transfer printing, 3D form building, cut-outs, and hand-sewn embellishments. The black-white-red-yellow color palette and materials such as taffeta, organza, and faux fur create a strong visual effect. Each outfit is a layer of “illusion”, simulating the struggle, confrontation, and revival – like the designer’s journey beyond limits.

Designer Ivan Tran brings the Aura Bloom collection with soft beauty combined with a spirit of freedom and inner strength. Attached to the theme "Individual identity creates style" , Aura Bloom is a unique intersection between design art and the modern woman's being - individuals who are both strong and gentle.

Inspired by the image of flower petals, Aura Bloom honors the silent yet powerful journey of maturity of modern women. From shy to radiant, from silent to confident, each design is a layer of emotion, a milestone of a process of "blossoming" from within.

Misses and runners-up perform

Thanh Huong Bui presents the Rose of the Dawn collection, taking the audience on a fascinating journey with traditional identity in the language of contemporary fashion. Inspired by the pure moments of a new day, the collection is a story told in the language of fashion through the image of roses. Each design is an elaborate handmade work, meticulously processed with sophisticated 3D embellishment techniques, selected materials and bold visual compositions, creating a sparkling effect like flowers blooming in the morning dew.

The highlight of the show was how Bui Thanh Huong skillfully brought the image of the ao dai into modern evening fashion. Each design was like a slice of culture expressed through a creative lens, both honoring the original beauty of the ao dai and opening up new perspectives in the way it was presented.

Designer Vuong Khang brings the Evening Pool Party collection – where fashion, personality and practicality artistically intersect. Each outfit clearly reflects his personal mark and distinctive design language.

Throughout the collection, the audience can admire from youthful sporty styles, individual rock styles to sophisticated and luxurious shapes.

For the first time participating in Vietnam International Fashion Week, S TUDIOMORAL fashion house brings a new fashion breeze: unconventional, liberal, and unconventional. The Everything/Everyday collection conquers the audience with its liberal, flexible, and limitless spirit.

The performances and impressive collections will continue to take place in the final night of Vietnam International Fashion Week 2025 on the evening of June 8 at Nguyen Du Stadium. The show will feature the participation of designers Adrian Anh Tuan, Frederick Lee (from Singapore), and Vu Viet Ha.
