On May 22nd, the People's Committee of Ca Mau province announced that the province had issued a decision listing investment projects for 2026, serving as a basis for promoting and inviting investors to research and implement projects.
Accordingly, the list comprises 96 projects, spanning many key sectors such as housing - urban areas, energy, tourism, environment, transportation infrastructure, health - education, trade - services, high-tech agriculture , and industrial park and cluster infrastructure.

This list features a high concentration of large-scale renewable energy and urban projects. In the energy sector alone, there are numerous wind power projects in coastal areas such as Hoa Binh, Dong Hai, Ngoc Hien, and Khai Long, with total investments amounting to tens of thousands of billions of VND.
In the housing and urban development sector, many large-scale projects have been included in the list, such as the Vinh Trach and Hiep Thanh ward new urban area covering 205 hectares with an estimated capital of over 12,952 billion VND; the Nam Can residential service area within the Ca Mau Economic Zone; the new urban area east of Vo Van Kiet road; and commercial residential areas in An Xuyen, Tan Xuyen, and Ly Van Lam.
The list also allocates significant space for tourism, service, and environmental projects such as the Dam Thi Tuong ecotourism area, U Minh Ha National Park ecotourism area, Tan Thanh golf course, wastewater treatment plants, waste-to-energy plants, and centralized waste treatment facilities.
The People's Committee of Ca Mau province has assigned the Department of Finance to take the lead and coordinate with relevant agencies to announce the list; and at the same time, strengthen the introduction, promotion, and attraction of investment according to regulations. Departments, agencies, and the People's Committees of communes and wards are required to proactively promote investment for projects within their respective fields and areas of management.
According to the People's Committee of Ca Mau province, the issuance of the list of investment attraction projects for 2026 is an important basis for further developing the local potential and advantages, creating a favorable environment to attract investment resources, and contributing to promoting sustainable socio-economic development in the coming period.
