The Paris Joint Communiqué promotes the implementation of the Agreement on Vietnam.

On June 13, 1973, after nearly a month of negotiations in Paris, representatives of the four parties involved in signing the Paris Agreement on Vietnam—the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, the Provisional Revolutionary Government of the Republic of South Vietnam, the United States, and the Saigon government—signed the Paris Communiqué.

The communiqué consisted of 14 points, focusing on three core issues: implementing an immediate ceasefire, releasing captured prisoners, and guaranteeing democratic freedoms in South Vietnam. This was considered a crucial step in resolving the obstacles in implementing the Paris Agreement signed on January 27, 1973.

This event reflects Vietnam's persistent diplomatic efforts, while also creating a legal and political basis to promote the implementation of international commitments, contributing to bringing the resistance war against the US closer to complete victory in the Spring of 1975.
