Heavy rain continues nationwide

This morning, in Hoa Binh, the Northern Delta region continues to have moderate rain, heavy rain, locally very heavy rain and thunderstorms with rainfall from 15-30mm, some places over 50mm. From this afternoon, the rain tends to decrease gradually.

Heavy rain will last longer in the North Central region, with rainfall from 4am this morning to 7am tomorrow morning (September 16) being 30-60mm, with some places over 100mm.

In addition, today and tonight, the weather forecast in the Central Central, Central Highlands and Southern regions is also for showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain with rainfall from 20-40mm, some places over 70mm, rain concentrated in the afternoon and evening.

Impact of heavy rain: Beware of the risk of flash floods, landslides in mountainous areas and flooding in low-lying areas; beware of heavy rain in a short period of time causing flooding in urban areas. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.

Thanh Hoa - Thua Thien Hue

Cloudy, moderate rain, heavy rain, some places with very heavy rain and scattered thunderstorms in the North; showers and scattered thunderstorms in the South in the afternoon and at night, showers and thunderstorms in some places during the day. West to southwest wind level 2-3. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.
