Singer Thai Tran passed away at the age of 43.

Thai Tran's relatives said she passed away on the morning of November 25th in Ho Chi Minh City. The singer died at the age of 43 after many years of treatment for kidney and heart failure. Her family is currently making funeral arrangements.

In her final years, Thai Tran's health deteriorated significantly. She was frequently hospitalized for dialysis. The last time the singer performed on stage was in September 2020.

Thai Tran was born in 1980 and studied at the Dong Nai School of Culture and Arts, participating in youth union activities. In 2002, she won fourth prize in the Ho Chi Minh City Television Singing Contest and the Ho Chi Minh City Radio Super Cup.

The singer's career was interrupted when she discovered she had a serious illness. Thai Tran suffered from stage 4 heart failure and end-stage kidney failure. She had to go to the hospital daily to stay alive.

However, the passion for singing always burned brightly within this unfortunate woman. In 2014, she accepted an invitation to participate in the competition The Winner Is and impressed with the song " The Girl from Yesterday".

Thai Tran's touching story brought viewers to tears. Hoai Linh couldn't hold back his emotions and broke down in tears on stage after hearing her story. The famous comedian adopted Thai Tran as his foster daughter right on live television. After the competition, she released an album of Trinh Cong Son's music - " Fly Away Silently."

"Now, I'm exhausted and worried I don't have much longer to live. Life is just hanging by a thread. I don't know how much longer I have left. My doctor informed me that my kidney and heart failure are in their final stages. The other patients being treated at the same time as me in the ward have passed away one by one. I'm still alive probably because of the love of my husband, my son, and especially my grandson," she shared in an interview in 2020.
