Building a digital university ecosystem.
Higher education institutions are proactively building comprehensive digital platforms to support management, training, and research in a coordinated manner.
Over the years, the digital transformation activities of the University of Technology - Da Nang University have focused on governance, training, scientific research, and student services, gradually forming a data-driven management and operation ecosystem, improving operational efficiency, transparency, and the quality of educational services.
Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Huu Hieu, the school's principal, stated that by 2025, the school will expand the application of digital platforms in training management, examinations, and quality assurance; and strengthen the use of digital signatures and electronic processes in administrative work.
Simultaneously, implement online teaching, learning, and research support systems; enhance the digital experience for students through online administrative and academic services.
With the aspiration to build a digital university, in addition to innovating training programs, such as introducing Artificial Intelligence courses for all students, adding courses related to AI and general digital transformation, the school has focused on promoting digital transformation in governance.
The launch of the dDUT (Digital DUT) ecosystem – a system of digital platforms and services built and developed by the University of Technology itself, providing digital utilities for lecturers, students, and administrative staff – marks an important step in the digital transformation roadmap, towards a smart university model and modern governance.
The dDUT ecosystem currently offers 6 groups of services for students; 9 groups of services for lecturers and 8 groups of services to support administrative work.

Typical products within the ecosystem include: a staff management system; the dDU mobile application; SRMS software; student survey software; a scientific research and international cooperation management system; a one-stop administrative system & Youth Union system; a materials management system, etc.
According to Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Vu, Director of Da Nang University, the launch of the dDUT digital ecosystem is proof of the University of Technology's determination to build a modern, convenient digital university environment, creating favorable conditions for teaching, learning, and management.
Hopefully, this comprehensive digital transformation model will not only remain within the school but will continue to spread to member units of the University of Da Nang and further to educational institutions, agencies, organizations, and businesses in the city.
