Cases where business registration is free

According to Article 5 of Circular 47/2019/TT-BTC, which stipulates the subjects exempt from business information provision fees and business registration fees, the cases exempt from business registration fees include:

- Businesses that update or change information due to changes in administrative boundaries are exempt from business registration fees and fees for publishing business registration information.

- Registration for business dissolution, temporary suspension of business operations; termination of operations of branches, representative offices, and business locations are exempt from business registration fees.

- Businesses that register online are exempt from business registration fees.

- Government agencies requesting information for state management purposes are exempt from fees for providing business information.

- Small and medium-sized enterprises converting from household businesses are exempt from business registration fees and initial business information provision fees.

Currently, the business registration fee rates for 2024 are applied according to Circular 47/2019/TT-BTC.

The fee for business registration in 2024 (including: issuance, re-issuance, and changes to the content of the Business Registration Certificate and the Certificate of Registration of Branch, Representative Office, and Business Location of the enterprise) is 50,000 VND per instance.

In addition, the fees for providing business information in 2024 will also be applied according to the above Circular.

- The fee for providing information on Business Registration Certificates; Branch, Representative Office, and Business Location Operating Certificates is 20,000 VND per copy.

- The fee for providing information in business registration documents and financial reports for various types of businesses is 40,000 VND per copy.

- The fee for providing a comprehensive business report is 150,000 VND per report.

- The fee for publishing business registration information is 100,000 VND per copy.

- The fee for providing business information to accounts with 125 copies or more per month is 4,500,000 VND/month.
