How to use the passive voice

In Topic 3, Ms. Phan Hue, a teacher at the Asian International School system (Ho Chi Minh City), guides students on the passive voice in English.

Ms. Phan Hue explained the purpose of using the passive voice; how to convert active sentences into passive sentences; and the formulas and examples of passive sentences in different tenses.

The teacher provides tips and strategies for achieving high scores in the English subject of the high school graduation exam.

In addition, the teacher guided students on how to do three types of exercises: rewriting sentences (converting active sentences to passive sentences); multiple-choice questions (how to identify passive structures and eliminate incorrect choices); and error identification (how to distinguish between active and passive sentences, and determine singular/plural subjects in passive sentences).

Previously, in the second episode broadcast on May 11th, the teacher reviewed with students how to use conditional sentences.

From now until June 11th, at fixed times (4:30 PM, 6:30 PM, and 8:30 PM) from Monday to Saturday each week, Thanh Nien Newspaper will broadcast 88 thematic programs for reviewing for the high school graduation exam.

The review sessions are conducted by experienced teachers from Le Hong Phong High School (District 5), Tran Dai Nghia High School (District 1), Bui Thi Xuan High School (District 1), Le Quy Don High School (District 3), Nguyen Hien High School (District 11), etc. Through each online exam review session, teachers will help students save time, take advantage of technology to make learning more engaging, and accumulate knowledge for the upcoming important exam.

Students can access Thanh Nien Newspaper's platforms to watch the program live at the scheduled time or review all previously broadcast episodes.

The program is supported and sponsored by organizations such as: Thien Long Group, Saigon International University (SIU), and the Asian International School system.

The program "Secrets to Achieving High Scores in the 2023 High School Graduation Exam" will broadcast 88 clips in the form of thematic review sessions aligned with the high school graduation exam.

In the 88 review topics, each subject teacher will provide questions in the format of the high school graduation exam. This helps students review their knowledge, familiarize themselves with the question-solving methods, and practice finding multiple-choice answers quickly and accurately.
