Linking driver's health examination data to the health insurance claims portal is a mandatory requirement as stated in Circular 7586/BYT-KCB issued by the Ministry of Health . This regulation applies to cases with a conclusion of "fit to drive" according to the driver's category. Individuals without health examination results data on the system are considered ineligible.
As one of the 26 units in Hanoi that have implemented the software for linking driver's license health examination data as required, Duc Giang General Hospital stated that the health examination process takes about an hour. Linking data to the health insurance claims portal for eligible cases allows individuals to proactively register for driver's license renewal online via computer or smartphone.
