In the framework of the Bangkok International Motor Show 2023, Ford Thailand has unveiled a new version of Ranger called Stormtrak. The car has 2 versions, HR and 4X4, with prices respectively 1,264 million baht (equivalent to 865 million VND) and 1,399 million baht (equivalent to 958 million VND).
The design of the Ranger Stormtrak has a few differences, typically the splint between the grille is arranged with a black logo instead of Ford's traditional blue. This area also has 2 new extra light strips on either side. The Stormtrak logo appears in many places on the car's exterior.
The bonnet border of the Stormtrak version also has a black Ranger braille. The rest of the parts such as the headlights and front bumper are the same as the version Ford Ranger Wildtrak.
Ranger Stormtrak 2023 is equipped with a set of dark 5-inch 20-spoke wheels with orange accents. In Thailand, Ranger Stormtrak is equipped with a roof rack and a movable black sports bar in the rear cargo box.
The cabin of the Ford Ranger Stormtrak has a dominant black color combined with contrasting red lines. In particular, the leather seats are embroidered with the word Stormtrak in red. This version has modern amenities such as 8-way power seats, 12,4-inch electronic screen behind the steering wheel, 12-inch vertical infotainment screen with SYNC 4A, 8-speaker audio, wireless charging or panoramic sunroof.
All versions of the Ford Ranger Stormtrak 2023 are equipped with a 2.0L bi-turbo diesel engine with a capacity of 210 horsepower and maximum torque of 500Nm, accompanied by a 10-speed automatic transmission and 4×4 drive system like the Ranger Raptor/Wildtrak and Everest Titanium+ in the Vietnamese market.
The Ford Ranger Stormtrak pickup is fully equipped with smart safety features such as: active parking assist, blind spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, active brake assist, smart automatic throttle, lane departure warning, lane departure assist and a 360-degree camera.
After Thailand, it is likely that the Ford Ranger Stormtrak 2023 will also be sold in Vietnam to replace the Ford Ranger Wildtrak.
