10% slower than planned

The Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project, Tan Van - Nhon Trach section, has a length of more than 8km, passing through Dong Nai province (more than 6km) and Ho Chi Minh City (nearly 2km).
The first point intersects with Provincial Road 25B (Nhon Trach, Dong Nai). The end point intersects with Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway.
The road is invested with a roadbed width of 20,5 - 26 m, including 4 motor vehicle lanes and 2 mixed vehicle lanes, design speed of 80 km/h.
Total project investment capital is about 6.955 billion VND, from ODA loans from the Korean Government through the Economic Development Cooperation Fund and counterpart capital from the Vietnamese Government.
The project will start construction in December 9 and is expected to be completed in May 2022.
To speed up the implementation of the project, the Deputy Minister of Transport requested the My Thuan Project Management Board to continue working with Nhon Trach district, urging to speed up site clearance progress and relocation of technical infrastructure works for handover. entire premises before March 31, 3.

Referring to the adjustment of the investment policy to add the Nhon Trach bridge unit to the project, the Deputy Minister of Transport assessed that progress is currently very slow.
“Regarding this content, the Government Office has directed implementation from April 4, however, it was not until the end of January 2023 that the Ministry of Transport received the report from the My Thuan Project Management Board.
The additional investment in the Nhon Trach bridge unit is very urgent to ensure synchronous, safe and smooth operation on the entire Ring Road 3 of Ho Chi Minh City according to the expressway scale.
