The mini-apartment building at 22B Alley 236 Khuong Dinh, Ha Dinh Ward, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi City, is 8 stories high, with approximately 7 apartments per floor. The first floor is used for parking, and the upper floors are accessed by elevator and stairs. All apartments were sold to residents by the developer and have been in use since 2017.

Residents say cracks have appeared in this mini-apartment building for more than ten days. Specifically, the pillars on the first floor have numerous cracks running horizontally and vertically from the base to the ceiling.

Residents have had to rent temporary accommodation while waiting for repairs. "I hope the repairs to the dilapidated parts of the mini-apartment building will be completed soon so that the residents can return to their normal lives and not have to rent a place," said a resident living on the 6th floor.
