On the morning of November 20th, at the landslide site at Km226+700 on National Highway 20, section through Mimosa Pass (Xuan Huong Ward – Da Lat, Lam Dong Province), the scene was one of devastation as thousands of cubic meters of soil and rocks slid down, completely cutting off the vital road leading in and out of Da Lat.

The landslide area is approximately 70 meters long and 40 meters deep.

Authorities immediately launched an investigation to determine a course of action following the landslide.

Authorities also proceeded to clear the trees on the hillside.
