According to initial information, at around 1 p.m. the same day, a tractor trailer and a 7-seat car were traveling on the My Thuy roundabout overpass on Vo Chi Cong Street, heading from District 7 to Thu Duc City. When the two vehicles were going down the slope of the bridge, suddenly a construction crane at the overpass overturned and fell towards the traffic on the bridge.

The incident caused traffic congestion.

The crane arm hit the two vehicles above, causing severe damage. The cabin of the car trailer was crushed and the glass cracked. Luckily, the 6 people on the 2 vehicles were not injured. Many vehicles traveling on this overpass were panicked and avoided it in time. The incident caused traffic congestion on the roads surrounding the overpass.
