MR. LE VAN NHAT, OWNER OF LE VAN NHAT CERAMICS PRODUCTION FACILITY (THANH HA CERAMICS VILLAGE, HOI AN TAY WARD):
Providing technological support and enhancing production capacity.
In 2025, the facility was equipped with electric kilns (large and small) worth a total of 224 million VND to replace the traditional wood-fired kilns, with 50% of the cost supported by industrial promotion funds. The results truly exceeded expectations. Productivity increased by approximately 70% compared to before, and product quality became more consistent and superior. Most importantly, it freed up strenuous labor for workers, while minimizing smoke and dust pollution and protecting the environment of the craft village.
The facility is planning to expand its workshop space and invest in more specialized machinery for more sustainable development. Therefore, we hope that the city's Department of Industry and Trade will continue to implement relevant industrial promotion policies and provide financial support to help households in Thanh Ha pottery village upgrade their technology and acquire machinery. This will enable faster and more efficient mass production while preserving the traditional identity of the craft village and preventing its decline over time.

MS. NGUYEN NGOC KIM ANH, DIRECTOR OF VIANA PRODUCTION, TRADING AND SERVICE COMPANY LIMITED (HOA TIEN COMMUNE):
Businesses need more in-depth support.
Aiming for export, the company is planning to invest in a fully automated bottling line and a wine aging machine that also removes aldehydes. These are advanced technologies that will help the glutinous rice wine achieve a smooth texture, high safety standards, and consistent quality. However, the biggest obstacle remains the cost.
For small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), the cost of high-tech equipment is a significant financial burden. We hope the city will consider increasing the level of industrial promotion support for high-tech equipment investment projects in the food and beverage industry. In addition, businesses also need more in-depth support policies regarding technology improvement consulting, operational training, and product standardization. This support will be a driving force for the business community to boldly innovate and develop local specialties in a modern direction, making them competitive in the international market.

MS. DO THI QUYNH TRAM, DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF THE DA NANG DEPARTMENT OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE:
Develop practical and realistic support policies.
Over the past period, the Department of Industry and Trade has implemented many policies to support industrial promotion, focusing on supporting the modernization of machinery and equipment and the application of smart production models for businesses. These policies have created a strong impetus for the development of supporting industries and trade services, while significantly increasing the proportion of consumer goods industries in the city.
Businesses in the mechanical engineering and supporting industries, as well as small and medium-sized manufacturing facilities, have effectively utilized support to upgrade production lines, improve packaging designs, and standardize management methods. As a result, efficiency and output have increased significantly, reducing reliance on unskilled labor. Export capacity has improved, making a positive contribution to the city's overall trade activities.
However, the post-merger administrative context has brought a new look to the city, leading to an increase in the number of businesses and production facilities, posing a significant challenge for management agencies. In response to this reality, the Department of Industry and Trade has proactively developed a resolution on trade promotion and drafted new policies to support industrial development; at the same time, it has actively connected with specialized organizations and units to advise on smart manufacturing solutions and provide other support for businesses.
Following the merger, most production facilities remain small-scale and scattered across a wide area, making management difficult. The Department of Industry and Trade aims to gradually relocate these facilities to industrial clusters for more centralized and efficient management. Furthermore, it calls for the cooperation of investment funds, the Social Policy Bank, and commercial banks in providing loan support, creating favorable conditions for production facilities to expand their infrastructure and achieve sustainable scale development.
According to the Department of Industry and Trade, in 2025, it provided support for the application of machinery and equipment and the transfer of advanced technology into industrial production to 25 units, along with many other practical support activities. In 2026, the approved budget for industrial promotion activities in Da Nang city is nearly 11 billion VND.
The industry and trade sector is focusing on developing new industrial promotion policies to replace Resolution No. 324/2020/NQ-HĐND of the Da Nang City People's Council, which stipulates policies for industrial promotion and the development of souvenir production serving tourism in Da Nang City; and Resolution No. 33/2024/NQ-HĐND dated December 6, 2024, of the Quang Nam Provincial People's Council, which stipulates the level of financial support for industrial promotion activities in Quang Nam province.
