From December 11th to 15th, Thua Thien Hue province experienced rain, moderate rain, scattered heavy rain, and very heavy rain in some areas. The total rainfall for the entire period was generally between 150 and 400mm, with some areas exceeding 500mm. The heaviest rainfall occurred between December 12th and 14th.

Heavy rains are likely to cause floods, flash floods, landslides, and rockfalls in hilly areas and along small rivers and streams in the districts of A Lưới, Nam Đông, Phong Điền, Phú Lộc, and Hương Trà town...

The Provincial Meteorological and Hydrological Station requests that all units, localities, and people throughout the province proactively take precautions against localized rainfall in short periods (potentially exceeding 70mm/hour and over 200mm/6 hours); there is a risk of localized flooding in urban areas, low-lying areas, and roads with poor drainage systems in some districts, towns, and Hue City.

The natural disaster risk level warning due to this heavy rainfall is level 1.
