Neymar's availability for the match remains uncertain.
Doubts about Neymar 's availability for the 2026 World Cup have continued in recent days, after the Brazilian forward underwent further tests for a right leg injury.
Earlier, there were hopes that Neymar could return to training with the rest of the team on Monday. However, the Santos player did not appear on the training pitch with his teammates and was instead taken to a clinic for further examination of his injured right calf. The Brazilian Football Confederation has not yet announced the results of these tests.

Neymar, 34 years old and participating in his fourth World Cup, has been sidelined since suffering an injury while playing for Santos on May 17th in Brazil.
Brazil will face Haiti next Friday in Philadelphia. To date, Neymar has not participated in any full training sessions since the five-time world champions began their World Cup preparations in Morristown, New Jersey.
According to Brazilian media, the Selecao's medical team hopes Neymar will make a full recovery in time to participate from the knockout rounds onwards.
Neymar's potential return became even more noteworthy after Brazil's disappointing performance in their 1-1 draw against Morocco in their opening match of the 2026 World Cup last Saturday.
Despite not playing, Neymar was still the center of attention in the stands at MetLife Arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Before kick-off, he was seen greeting many celebrities on the sidelines, including rapper Travis Scott and seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady.
Brazil's attacking struggles against Morocco immediately sparked calls for the need for an experienced playmaker like Neymar on the field.
In Brazil, there has also been much debate about whether Neymar – who made his first World Cup appearance on home soil in 2014 – should be called up by new coach Carlo Ancelotti for the tournament. Some fans believe that the veteran star's class and experience can still benefit the Selecao. However, many others argue that Neymar is past his prime and giving him a chance would mean depriving a younger player of a World Cup opportunity.
