Ha Long Carnival - Shining Bright with the Wonder

Held annually since 2007, the Ha Long Carnival has become a distinctive and attractive cultural and tourism brand of Ha Long - Quang Ninh.

The stage for the Ha Long Carnival 2024 is elaborately designed, harmoniously combining onshore and offshore elements, and is structured in three layers: on sand, shallow water, and deep water.

Notably, this year, the Ha Long Carnival will for the first time be presented in the form of a live theatrical performance on the sea, with the participation of nearly 2,000 artists, actors, singers, etc., combined with many modern technologies such as drone light, fireworks, 3D mapping, LED, modern sound and lighting... The Ha Long Carnival 2024 is considered to be the most spectacular ever, attracting the attention of tens of thousands of people, domestic and international tourists.

The Ha Long Carnival 2024, themed "Shining Bright with Wonders," is built upon the core values of Quang Ninh province: "Beautiful Nature - Unique Culture - Civilized Society - Transparent Administration - Developed Economy - Happy People."

The performance depicted a heartwarming image of a family in a coastal fishing village.

The program comprises five meticulously staged artistic performances: The Legend of Ha Long; The Fishing Village and Trading Port; The Dance of Heritage; and Shining Bright with Wonders. Through these performances, a vibrant picture of the northeasternmost region of Vietnam is depicted, a land rich in historical layers, cultural values, and the unique character and pride of the people of Ha Long - Quang Ninh .

At the same time, it honors Ha Long Bay - one of the 7 new natural wonders of the world, marking 30 years since Ha Long Bay was first recognized by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage site.

The highlight of the program is the drone light show, which appears in Act 1 "Legends of Ha Long" and Act 5 "Shining Bright with Wonders".

3D mapping technology will be incorporated into the performances in the Ha Long Carnival 2024 program.

Over 1,600 drone lights depicted iconic symbols of Ha Long and Quang Ninh in the sky, such as: the sacred dragon, the Drum and Rooster Islet - Ha Long Bay, the miner, Yen Tu Pagoda, Van Don Airport, the Ha Long Carnival logo… The drone light show was also the most anticipated part of the event for locals and tourists.

The highlight of the Ha Long Carnival 2024 is the drone light show.

With many distinctive and unique images associated with the people and identity of Quang Ninh.

The program concluded with a spectacular high-altitude fireworks display, leaving locals and tourists with special impressions, beautiful memories, and a fascinating experience of the cultural and historical values and scenery of the World Heritage Site of Ha Long Bay and the beautiful city of Ha Long.
