At 34 years old, Casemiro has regained his top form this season, playing a major role in helping the Red Devils secure a place in the Champions League.
Despite his importance to the team being restored, Casemiro decided to leave to seek new challenges in the twilight of his career.

According to talkSPORT, the former Real Madrid star is close to a move to Inter Miami across the Atlantic.
David Beckham's club has reached a preliminary transfer agreement with Casemiro on a two-year contract.
However, Inter Miami had to overcome the strict financial regulations of the American professional league to complete this high-profile deal.
If the transfer goes through, Casemiro will become teammates with Messi, De Paul, and Luis Suarez.
Previously, Al-Ittihad of the Saudi Pro League also showed interest in the Brazilian star, hoping to bring Casemiro in to replace Fabinho.
However, the Manchester United midfielder himself preferred to move to the US, as he saw it as a more suitable environment for his family and the development of his young child.
In other news, following his farewell ceremony at Old Trafford last weekend, Casemiro is likely to be rested for the final game of the season against Brighton, in order to conserve his energy for the upcoming 2026 World Cup.
