| Phu Luong commune is using banners to promote the election, creating an atmosphere of excitement leading up to this national event. |
"Knock on every door, check every individual."
As election day approaches, the pace of work at polling stations intensifies. From checking ballot boxes and posting candidate lists to developing plans for security, order, and fire prevention, everything is meticulously prepared. Captain Hoang Xuan Huy, head of the Public Order Police Team of Tan My Commune Police, said: "As election day draws near, the unit's leadership directs the working groups to assign officers to be on duty 24/7; assigning each officer and soldier to patrol the 30 villages of the commune, along with developing plans to protect polling areas, closely monitoring the local situation, promptly detecting and handling any arising issues, and ensuring absolute safety at polling stations."
Not only in Tan My, but also in other areas, following the motto "Knocking on every door, checking every individual," these days, Ms. Le Thi Thuy, Party Branch Secretary and a respected figure in Xay Dung village, Son Duong commune, along with the Party branch committee, regularly visits each household to disseminate information and provide guidance on election procedures.
Ms. Thuy clearly explained the standards for National Assembly deputies and People's Council representatives; the rights and obligations of candidates and voters; reminded people not to vote on behalf of others and to carefully consider their choices before casting their votes. In particular, she focused on elderly households with limited access to information, engaging in specific and easily understandable discussions; and at the same time, fully grasping the thoughts and aspirations of voters to present them during election campaigns and voter outreach meetings with candidates for the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels...

To make election day a true celebration.
For Mr. Hoang Duc Cong, of the Fatherland Front Committee of Bang Hanh commune, election work, although a part-time task without special privileges, carries sacred political significance. He is meticulous in every step of preparation, cherishing each ballot because he understands that it is the "bridge" connecting the will of the people with the state power organs.
Mr. Cong shared: "During the day, we handle our professional work, and in the evening, we attend election committee meetings, inspect facilities, and complete files and documents. Some days, the work extends late into the night, but all members of the team understand that this is an important political task, so we all strive to complete our assigned duties to the best of our ability."
In the highlands of Na Hang commune, Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, Head of the Na Hang Area Power Grid Management and Operation Team, along with his team of electrical technicians, are racing against time. To ensure uninterrupted power supply on this crucial day, they have meticulously inspected every connection, checked every transformer station, and are on duty 24/7.
"We not only maintain the power grid but also proactively prepare backup generators at critical polling stations. Our highest priority is to ensure that voters can cast their ballots smoothly, without interruption from any unforeseen circumstances," Mr. Hung affirmed.
In Bach Dich border commune, where over 90% of the population are ethnic minorities, the fragmented terrain and sparse population make it difficult to gather people for concentrated propaganda. Therefore, local officials, election committee members, police and military forces, mass organizations, and even respected community leaders and village elders have become effective "mobile propagandists."
Comrade Vi Trung Viet, Chairman of the People's Committee of Bach Dich commune, said: The commune has proactively developed a plan, issued guiding documents, and provided complete materials so that officials and people can thoroughly understand the regulations and content of the election. From there, they have played a core role in disseminating information and mobilizing people to participate in the election on time and in accordance with the law, contributing to ensuring that the election is democratic, safe, and successful.
The elections for the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term are fast approaching. With the decisive involvement of the entire political system, we are confident that voters of all ethnic groups in the province will exercise their democratic rights effectively, electing worthy representatives and contributing to building an increasingly prosperous, beautiful, and civilized revolutionary homeland.
