Rach Mieu 2 Bridge is ready for traffic.

After more than 3 years of construction, by early August 2025, the Rach Mieu 2 Bridge Construction Project (connecting Dong Thap and Vinh Long provinces) was 99.1% complete, and is expected to be inaugurated and put into operation on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd.

This is the seventh bridge across the Tien River, following the Rach Mieu, Cao Lan, My Thuan, My Thuan 2, Ham Luong, and Co Chien bridges. Once operational, the Rach Mieu 2 bridge will alleviate traffic congestion on the existing Rach Mieu bridge, eliminating the chronic traffic bottleneck and contributing to the rapid development of the Mekong Delta region in the coming years.
