Do Ky Duyen, widely known to fans as Celine (1S.Celine) in the mobile game Arena of Valor, has just had a brilliantly successful year of competition. The highlight was the precious Gold Medal at the 33rd SEA Games and the championship title in the Vietnamese qualifying round.
This is not only a personal achievement but also a great source of pride for the national esports community, affirming the position of Vietnamese female players in the regional arena.
Despite being at the peak of her form, Celine has just announced a temporary hiatus from competition. The main reason, as shared by the female athlete, is that her health condition no longer allows her to maintain the rigorous training intensity of a professional athlete.
Following a post-SEA Games general check-up, Celine revealed she was experiencing several health issues, including anemia, low blood pressure, and kidney stones.
"All these underlying health conditions mean I need to adopt a healthier lifestyle instead of spending too much time sitting in front of a computer or phone screen," she shared on her personal Facebook page.
Besides health reasons, the female athlete also revealed that she plans to get married this year and will focus all her efforts on her restaurant business in Tay Ninh .
Despite leaving the professional arena, Celine insists she won't completely disappear from the community. She plans to shift her focus to content creation, producing vlogs and maintaining live streams to stay connected with her fans.
"Even though I'm no longer Vie_Kduyen or 1S.Celine on the competition poster, I still hope everyone will support the everyday Ky Duyen, your jungle princess. I will try to release more vlogs and organize more live streams," the female player expressed her gratitude to those who have shown her love.
Possessing intelligent tactical thinking and unwavering composure in the role of "jungler," Celine has left a strong impression on fans and is affectionately nicknamed: "The Jungle Princess."
