Starting tourism activities with a proactive and determined mindset, Ha Tinh is ready to welcome and serve tourists from near and far in 2024.

A tourism survey delegation organized by Ha Tinh Tourism Association visited and learned about the experience of building tourism products at Quynh Doi wooden fish village (Quynh Luu, Nghe An) in early 2024.

To kick off tourism activities in 2024, at the end of December 2023, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Tinh issued a document on ensuring tourism activities during the 2024 New Year and the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin are joyful, healthy and safe.

Accordingly, the Department requested the People's Committees of districts, cities, towns; management boards of tourist areas and spots, and tourism service establishments across the province to proactively plan to organize cultural, artistic events, festivals associated with promoting the image of the homeland and destinations... to promote and attract tourists. At the same time, it requested units to strengthen the supervision of tourism business establishments, ensuring conditions such as: security and order, environmental sanitation, fire safety, food safety... to best serve tourists.

Ha Tinh City builds a check-in point at Thanh Sen Square to serve tourists on the occasion of the Spring of Giap Thin 2024.

Ms. Vo Thi Thu Hien - Head of Tourism Management Department (Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Tinh) said: "We also thoroughly grasp the spirit of the province's direction for localities and tourism businesses in strengthening the renovation of facilities, making efforts to create new attractive products; strengthening tourism promotion and advertising on the media... Thereby, spreading the cultural values, beauty of tourist attractions, resorts and accommodation facilities to attract tourists right from the beginning of the spiritual cultural tourism season, the Lunar New Year, the spring of Giap Thin 2024".

Implementing the direction of the province and guidance from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, units and localities have planned and implemented many programs and actions to stimulate tourism since the beginning of the year. Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung - Vice Chairman of Can Loc District People's Committee said: "We have invited experts from Hue and Nguyen Du College (Ha Tinh) to organize 3 training courses to improve knowledge and skills for the staff and employees working in tourism in the area. In addition, this year, along with careful preparation for the Huong Tich Pagoda festival, we also directed the management board of this relic site to strengthen the renovation of a number of items, build many new products such as: check-in points, sightseeing, OCOP product exhibition booths, images of the homeland culture. Notably, the district has just welcomed a Famtrip delegation from the Vietnam Young Business Tourism Club to survey and sign a cooperation agreement in supporting the development of products, bringing Huong Tich Pagoda into tours and routes of travel agencies outside the province, in the coming time".

Along with Can Loc, many localities such as Huong Khe, Huong Son, Nghi Xuan... have also taken careful steps to prepare for tourism activities in 2024. In particular, Huong Khe district has chosen the tea hill in Huong Tra as a highlight for tourists and is making efforts to build this address as a provincial-level tourist destination. Huong Son district is preparing for the Hai Thuong Lan Ong Festival which will take place after the Lunar New Year with many exciting cultural and sports activities.

Tourist attractions such as Nguyen Du relic site (Nghi Xuan), Da Bac Eco tourist area (Thach Ha)... are also building new attractive products, promising to attract tourists. Many businesses have also launched tourism activities in 2024 with many programs and plans such as: improving human resources, building new tours and routes, promoting and introducing destinations, connecting with travel agencies from other provinces to bring tourists to Ha Tinh...
