By proactively launching tourism activities with high determination, Ha Tinh is ready to welcome and serve tourists from near and far in 2024.

A tourism survey team organized by the Ha Tinh Tourism Association visited and learned from the experience of developing tourism products at Quynh Doi wooden fishing village (Quynh Luu, Nghe An) in early 2024.

To kick off tourism activities in 2024, starting from the end of December 2023, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Tinh province issued a document on ensuring tourism activities during the 2024 New Year and the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Dragon are joyful, healthy, and safe.

Accordingly, the Department requests the People's Committees of districts, cities, and towns; the management boards of tourist areas and attractions; and tourism service businesses throughout the province to proactively develop plans to organize cultural and artistic events and festivals associated with promoting the image of the homeland and destinations... in order to boost and attract tourists. At the same time, it requests that units strengthen supervision of tourism businesses, ensuring conditions such as security and order, environmental hygiene, fire safety, food safety and hygiene... to best serve tourists.

Ha Tinh City is building a check-in point at Thanh Sen Square to serve tourists during the Lunar New Year of the Dragon 2024.

Ms. Vo Thi Thu Hien, Head of the Tourism Management Department (Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism), said: "We have also thoroughly implemented the province's directive to localities and tourism businesses to strengthen the upgrading of infrastructure, strive to create new and attractive products; and enhance tourism promotion and advertising through various means... Thereby, spreading the cultural values ​​and beauty of tourist attractions, resorts, and accommodations to attract tourists right from the beginning of the cultural and spiritual tourism season, the Lunar New Year, and the Year of the Dragon 2024."

The Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Tourism Club delegation surveyed the Huong Tich Pagoda tourist area on January 15, 2024.

Following the province's directives and guidance from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, various units and localities have planned and implemented numerous programs and actions to stimulate tourism demand since the beginning of the year. Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Can Loc District, said: "We have invited experts from Hue and Nguyen Du College (Ha Tinh) to organize three training courses to improve the knowledge and skills of tourism staff in the area. In addition, this year, along with thorough preparations for the Huong Tich Pagoda festival, we have also directed the management board of the historical site to strengthen the renovation of several items and develop many new products such as: check-in points, sightseeing spots, exhibition booths showcasing OCOP products, and images of local culture. Notably, the district recently welcomed a Famtrip delegation from the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Tourism Club to survey and sign a cooperation agreement to support the development of products and include Huong Tich Pagoda in tours and routes of travel agencies outside the province in the near future."

Along with Can Loc, many localities such as Huong Khe, Huong Son, Nghi Xuan... have also made thorough preparations for tourism activities in 2024. Among them, Huong Khe district has chosen the tea hills in Huong Tra as a highlight for tourists and is striving to develop this location into a provincial-level tourist destination. Huong Son district is preparing for the Hai Thuong Lan Ong Festival, which will take place after the Lunar New Year with many vibrant cultural and sporting activities.

Tourist attractions such as the Nguyen Du historical site (Nghi Xuan) and the Da Bac Eco-tourism area (Thach Ha) are also developing attractive new products, promising to attract visitors. Many businesses have also launched tourism activities in 2024 with various programs and plans such as: strengthening human resources, developing new tours and routes, promoting and introducing destinations, and connecting with travel agencies from other provinces to bring tourists to Ha Tinh...
