From around 5 PM (Hanoi time), some users reported experiencing problems with OpenAI's chatbot. Customers in the UK reported the issue first, then it spread to the rest of Europe. The company's status page also reflected similar problems. Processing speed decreased, and there were bottlenecks in ChatGPT and the Sora video creator. "The error rate increased significantly," the start-up stated.

At the same time, DownDetector reported a sharp increase in error reports for the aforementioned AI service. At its peak, there were over 1,000 incident reports worldwide . Customers were either not receiving a response from the chatbot or it was responding very slowly in the past few hours.

According to an editor at Tech Radar, the issue is not uniform for all users. Paid customers can use the service normally. Conversely, the majority of customers experiencing problems are non-paying users. In some cases, the software displays the message "Chat not found".
