On the morning of March 28.3, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team - District 7 Police (Ho Chi Minh City) coordinated with relevant units to handle the scene and clarify the container truck fire on Phu My Bridge.
At about 6:30 a.m. on the same day, the male driver drove a container truck on Vo Chi Cong Street, heading from Thu Duc City to District 7.
When the container truck reached the Phu My bridge section (District 7), the driver discovered that the engine had unusual signs and smoke was rising. The driver quickly pulled the car close to the left lane and exited the cabin.
The front of the container truck then also caught fire. At the scene, a column of black smoke rose more than ten meters high, the heat made vehicles dare not pass through. The incident caused traffic congestion in the area where the incident occurred.
Receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team - District 7 Police dispatched many vehicles and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene to quickly extinguish the fire. The car fire did not cause any casualties, but the front of the container truck was completely burned.
