Following the merger, Chiềng An ward possesses many unique characteristics compared to other localities, such as: a large geographical area, a diverse population structure, a mix of service, trade, and agricultural sectors; and many rapidly developing streets and residential areas alongside traditional villages. This presents both opportunities and significant pressures on urban management, social welfare, and the building of unity. Therefore, the role of the Fatherland Front Committee of the ward becomes even more crucial in the initial stabilization phase after the merger, fostering high levels of consensus among the people. Immediately after its establishment, the Fatherland Front Committee streamlined its organizational structure, assigned tasks, and developed a practical action plan, maintaining previous movements while implementing new approaches suited to the local characteristics. As a result, work quickly became organized, and the morale of officials, Party members, and the people remained stable.
Mr. Lu Viet Hung, Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of the ward, said: "The work of mobilizing, gathering, and uniting the people has always been identified as a central and continuous task, aiming to create consensus and promote community strength. Many movements have been widely implemented, such as 'All people unite to build a civilized urban area,' 'Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods,' 'All people protect national security'..."

The Fatherland Front Committee of the ward has always prioritized caring for the people's lives, especially for poor and near-poor households, policy beneficiary families, and people with meritorious services. The ward has effectively mobilized, managed, and utilized the "For the Poor" Fund with a total of over 109 million VND; mobilized and supported the construction and repair of 19 solidarity houses with a total cost of 920 million VND; and visited and presented gifts to policy beneficiary families, poor and near-poor households during holidays, Tet (Lunar New Year), and "Day for the Poor". In addition, the ward mobilized businesses and philanthropists to support people affected by natural disasters and floods with a total value of over 1.4 billion VND, along with thousands of gifts and essential necessities.
Leveraging community strength, many villages and residential areas have been proactive and creative in implementing emulation movements. In Phiêng Tam village, over the past five years, along with government support, the people have voluntarily contributed hundreds of days of labor and over 300 million VND to concrete nearly 2 km of internal village roads and invest in nearly 3 km of street lighting, creating favorable conditions for daily life, transportation, and economic development. Mr. Lo Van Thien, Head of the Village Front Committee, shared: "The village has 131 households and 504 inhabitants. When the plan to concrete roads and install street lights was announced, the Front Committee organized a public meeting with the people to reach a consensus on how to proceed. Through this, the spirit of solidarity and sense of responsibility of the people has been promoted, effectively implementing movements in the residential area."

Meanwhile, in Hamlet 3, the model of growing red-fleshed dragon fruit in collaboration with An Phu Agricultural Cooperative has brought economic benefits, increasing farmers' income by hundreds of millions of dong each year. Mr. Tong Van Hung, one of the four households participating in the cooperative's collaboration, said: "Thanks to the dissemination of information, guidance, and technical support, in 2022, I planted 700 red-fleshed dragon fruit trees. The cooperative buys all the harvested produce. Each month, the dragon fruit orchard yields two harvests, with a production of about 4 tons, at an average selling price of 15,000 dong/kg. After deducting expenses, the income is 400 million dong per year."
To date, 92% of households in the ward have achieved the title of "Culturally Advanced Family," and 100% of hamlets and villages have met cultural standards. Residential areas maintain a civilized lifestyle, actively protect the environment, beautify the landscape, and maintain "bright, green, clean, beautiful, and safe" streets.
Building on the achievements, the Fatherland Front Committee of the ward will continue to improve the quality of its staff, strengthen its connection with the grassroots, and understand the thoughts and aspirations of the people. It will promote coordination between the Front and its member organizations in disseminating information and mobilizing the people to participate in patriotic emulation movements and campaigns launched by the Central and local authorities. At the same time, it will integrate criteria for environmental protection, waste sorting at source, tree planting, and the creation of flower-lined streets into these emulation movements, aiming to build a bright, green, clean, beautiful, and civilized ward.
