Specifically, the price of RON 95-III gasoline (the most common type on the market) increased by 260 VND, to 21,500 VND/liter. E5 RON 92 also increased by 280 VND, to 20,910 VND/liter.
Oil products (excluding fuel oil) increased by 490-550 VND/liter. Diesel fuel increased by 550 VND, reaching 19,700 VND/liter. Kerosene and fuel oil are now priced at 19,410 VND and 17,260 VND respectively.

Since the beginning of the year, domestic fuel prices have undergone 26 adjustments, including 9 decreases, 11 increases, and 6 periods of fluctuating fuel prices.
It has been announced that from July 1st, the value-added tax (VAT) on gasoline and diesel will be reduced by 2%, from 10% to 8%, according to a resolution of the National Assembly . This means that from midnight on July 1st, gasoline and diesel prices will decrease accordingly, by 100-130 VND per liter for E5 RON 92 and RON 95-III gasoline. Similarly, other oil products (excluding mazut) will see a further reduction of 140-200 VND per liter.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade , the global oil market during this price adjustment period (June 19-25, 2025) is influenced by key factors such as: the conflict between Israel and Iran in the Middle East; and the ongoing military conflict between Russia and Ukraine… These factors have caused global oil prices to fluctuate up and down in recent days, depending on the specific product.
