The 2026 National U15 Championship Finals will bring together 12 strong teams and will take place from April 1st to April 14th at Thanh Long Stadium. |
On the morning of March 26th, at the headquarters of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), the organizing committee held the draw and scheduling ceremony for the final round of the National U15 Football Championship - Modern Cup 2026, and also announced the main sponsor of the tournament.
This year's final round features 12 outstanding teams that qualified from the preliminary rounds. The teams will compete in a centralized location at Thanh Long Stadium (Ho Chi Minh City) from April 1st to April 14th.
According to the draw results, Group A includes Ho Chi Minh City, Ninh Binh, Tay Ninh, and SLNA I. Group B has Quang Nam, PVF, The Cong Viettel I, and Can Tho. Meanwhile, Group C brings together Becamex Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi I, Da Nang, and Dak Lak.
This is one of the important tournaments in Vietnam's football youth training system, playing a crucial role in discovering and nurturing potential players. Competing in the final round helps teams gain experience and hone their skills in a highly competitive environment.
VFF General Secretary Nguyen Van Phu emphasized that the U15 National Championship is a prime example of a platform where young players can showcase their professional skills, fighting spirit, and aspirations for success.
On the part of the sponsoring organization, Acecook Vietnam continues its commitment to the tournament, contributing to maintaining a stable playing field for youth football.
With a round-robin format in the group stage, the top three teams from each group and the best-performing second-placed team will advance to the semi-finals. This promises to create fierce competition right from the first matches.
The 2026 National U15 Championship is expected to continue to be a launching pad for many young talents, supplementing the national teams in the future.
