The Women's Union of Ta Xua commune currently has 13 branches and over 1,500 members, mainly from the Mong ethnic group, whose lives are still fraught with difficulties. Ms. Mua Thi Thay, President of the Women's Union of Ta Xua commune, said: "At one point, some women assumed that joining the Party was a man's job, and that women should stay at home to take care of the family and children. To change that mindset, we proactively propagated and encouraged women to participate in union activities; gradually changing their perceptions, pushing back against outdated customs, and affirming the position and role of women in life."
The principle of "slow and steady wins the race" and close attention to grassroots issues have gradually changed the mindset of many women, motivating them to strive and train themselves to join the Party. From July 2025 to the present, the entire Ta Xua commune has had 3 women's association leaders admitted to the Party, and the application process is continuing for 2 more outstanding individuals. Expressing her honor and pride in joining the Party, Ms. Ho Thi Tong, Head of the Women's Association in Ta Xua village, shared: "Becoming a Party member, I will strive to improve myself. At the same time, I will encourage women to develop their family economies , actively participate in community activities, maintain self-managed roads, and promote 'clean houses, beautiful gardens' and 'green houses' models, creating scenic highlights to serve local tourism development."

In the border commune of Muong Lan, the journey of sowing "red seeds" by local women's cadres is also progressing persistently and diligently. Ms. Lo Thi Thiem, Chairwoman of the Women's Association of the commune, informed: Every year, the association sets specific targets and solutions for Party development. In coordination with officers and soldiers of the Muong Lan Border Guard Post, they organize literacy classes, patrol and protect the border and national boundary markers, and integrate the dissemination of the Party's policies and the State's laws to women. Through this, the awareness of members has been raised. Many have become positive factors in propaganda and mobilization, creating motivation to encourage women in the commune to strive for progress. From July 2025 to the present, the Women's Association of the commune has had 8 members admitted to the Party.
Through innovative approaches, Party development work within Women's Union branches at all levels throughout the province has achieved remarkable results. During the 2021-2025 term, 1,012 women members were admitted to the Party. In the first six months alone, Women's Union branches in the province recommended 31 outstanding members for the Party to consider for admission, and 25 members have had the honor of joining the Party. Many of these women are from ethnic minority groups and live in difficult mountainous and border areas.
Ms. Cam Thi Hong Duyen, President of the Provincial Women's Union, said: In order to create a source for developing female Party members, the Women's Union at all levels integrates the implementation of the Party's policies and viewpoints on women's work and the development of female Party members in difficult areas and ethnic minority areas with the emulation movement "Building the Vietnamese woman of the new era". They also promote the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style, linking it with the campaign "Building a family with 5 no's, 3 clean's, and 3 safe's" and the key tasks of the Union...

With the motto "Wherever there are women, there are women's association activities," women's associations at all levels diversify their activities to attract a large number of women to participate. A prominent example is the "1+1" model (one strong branch supporting a weak branch; one member encouraging one woman to join the association; one female Party member mentoring and introducing a branch/group leader/deputy leader, or a female member who is a cadre, civil servant, or executive committee member for Party membership; one strong branch forming a sisterhood with a weak branch, or one member with resources supporting a member in difficult circumstances...). The "3 Haves, 3 Knows" model (having pioneering members, having monthly activities, having resources to organize activities; knowing the members' faces, knowing the members' circumstances, and knowing the needs of female members)... Through this, many women are attracted to actively participate and contribute, and positive individuals and outstanding members emerge to be nurtured and considered for Party membership.
To effectively develop female Party members, women's associations at all levels in the province continue to organize many activities and emulation movements, attracting members to participate and creating an environment for women to train and strive to join the ranks of the Party. At the same time, they focus on promoting the exemplary and leading role of female Party members to motivate and encourage women members to develop economically, actively participate in social activities, and build prosperous and happy families.
