Cam Son Pagoda held a ceremony to celebrate Buddha's birthday.

The Buddha's Birthday celebration at Cam Son Pagoda ( Ha Tinh City) is an occasion for monks, nuns, and Buddhist followers to reflect on the life and immeasurable merits of Shakyamuni Buddha.

On the morning of June 4th, at Cam Son Pagoda (Dai Nai Ward, Ha Tinh City), the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Association of Ha Tinh City solemnly organized the grand celebration of Buddha's Birthday - Buddhist calendar 2567, Gregorian calendar 2023.

The ceremony was attended by representatives from the Provincial Religious Affairs Committee, the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Association of Ha Tinh province, local leaders, and a large number of Buddhists and citizens.

At the ceremony, Venerable Thich Quang Nguyen, Deputy Head of the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Association in Ha Tinh province, read the Buddha's Birthday message from the Supreme Patriarch of the Vietnam Buddhist Association. The message acknowledged the merits of the various levels of the Buddhist association and Buddhist followers who have done well in their service and hoped that everyone would continue to work together to serve humanity...

This year, during the Buddha's Birthday season, Buddhists also expressed their reverence in commemorating the 60th anniversary of Bodhisattva Thich Quang Duc, the Supreme Patriarch who self-immolated to fight for national peace . At the same time, they called on monks, nuns, Buddhists, and all sectors of society to strive to do good deeds and actively contribute to national development. The delegates solemnly and respectfully offered incense, bathed the Buddha statue, and prayed for peace and prosperity for the nation.
