The People's Committee of Binh Yen commune recently held a ceremony to launch the movement "All citizens participate in environmental protection; minimize waste generation, sorting, collecting, and processing for a bright, green, clean, and beautiful Vietnam." The movement is being implemented to concretize the Government's Resolution and the plan of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee on environmental protection and sustainable development.

According to the plan, the movement will be implemented synchronously, regularly, and widely throughout the commune, with the participation of the entire political system and all strata of the people, thereby contributing to raising awareness, forming habits and a civilized lifestyle in environmental protection, and ending the situation of indiscriminate littering and illegal waste dumping and burning.

Binh Yen commune aims for 100% of residential areas to organize general environmental sanitation campaigns on weekends; 100% of families to sort waste at source; to maintain and expand effective models such as "Green Sunday," "Bright, Green, Clean, Beautiful and Safe Road," and to develop the model "Children join hands for a bright, green, clean and beautiful Binh Yen."

In addition, propaganda efforts will be intensified through local broadcasting systems, community activities, and movements organized by mass organizations.

A large number of local residents participated in cleaning up public areas in the commune.

Local authorities have also intensified inspections and supervision, promptly commending outstanding collectives and individuals, and strictly handling violations. Launching the movement for all citizens to protect the environment not only contributes to improving the rural landscape but also creates a foundation for the sustainable development of Binh Yen commune in the future.
