The people of Phuoc Giang commune are reaping the rewards after more than 10 years of transforming their unproductive orchards into fruit-growing areas.

According to statistics from the Department of Agriculture and Environment, from 2015 to 2025, many rice-growing areas have been converted to other crops, creating thousands of jobs and increasing the average value by 2-3 times compared to rice cultivation. Specifically, in the period 2021-2025, the entire province converted nearly 3,340 hectares of low-yield rice land to annual crops or rice cultivation combined with aquaculture.
