Opportunities for electronics brands

NEPCON Vietnam 2024 is an annual event for the electronics industry, organized by RX Tradex Vietnam. The exhibition attracts businesses from China, Taiwan (China), Singapore, the United States, Germany, and Belgium. Notably, 40% of the participating businesses are leading electronics manufacturers; nearly 25% are trading companies, and 25% are electronics import/export businesses.

In addition, the exhibition also features 14 international organizations and associations from Singapore, Taiwan (China), Japan, and South Korea, bringing advanced technologies and groundbreaking solutions to promote the development of the domestic electronics manufacturing industry.

This year's exhibition brings together nearly 300 leading electronics brands from 20 countries.

NEPCON Vietnam 2024 focuses on key areas such as technology and equipment for surface mount technology (SMT), manufacturing support services for the electronics and semiconductor industries, and equipment for printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing.

In particular, the products and solutions at the exhibition mainly focus on developing Industry 4.0 manufacturing and supporting small and medium-sized enterprises. This shows that the Vietnamese market is becoming an important destination for the electronics manufacturing industry in the region and the world .

Furthermore, according to RX Tradex Vietnam, the products and solutions displayed at this year's exhibition show that approximately 30% of businesses focus on electronic component manufacturing and 20% on assembly, reflecting not only new trends but also demonstrating the strong potential for expansion and development of the electronics industry.

Furthermore, the growing interest in quality control, consumer electronics, and automotive not only marks pioneering trends but also opens up new development opportunities, affirming Vietnam's increasingly important role in the global electronics supply chain.

Ms. Do Thi Thuy Huong, a member of the Executive Board of the Vietnam Electronics Industry Association (VEIA), commented: "NEPCON Vietnam 2024 will serve as a springboard, helping Vietnamese businesses seize opportunities to integrate more deeply into the global value chain; overcome challenges and rise to a leading position in the region."

Besides showcasing products, the exhibition also organizes a series of trade activities, including a series of in-depth seminars on topics such as: Smart Manufacturing - Digital Transformation; Industry 4.0, AI, and IoT in electronics manufacturing... thereby bringing modern technological trends and offering practical solutions to help businesses improve efficiency and reduce operating costs.
