Today, June 26th, the University of Transport announced the results of its 2024 regular undergraduate admissions using the following early admission methods: admission based on high school transcripts and combined admission (admission and training in Hanoi ), and admission based on high school transcripts and the results of the 2024 National University of Ho Chi Minh City's aptitude test (admission and training at the Ho Chi Minh City branch). The overall cut-off scores for these methods are generally high, with some majors exceeding 28 or nearly 29 points (on a 30-point scale).

For candidates using IELTS certificates in the application process, the total score is converted to a 30-point scale using the formula: total score × 30 / 40.

The University of Transport and Communications stated that the list of eligible candidates published by the university does not yet take into account the requirement of having graduated from high school. The university will check this requirement when receiving the admission applications from candidates.

To ensure full admission eligibility, from July 18th to before 5 PM on July 30th, candidates who have registered their preferences and meet the admission requirements for early admission methods into the Ministry of Education and Training's system (except for candidates who meet the admission requirements for the 3 international joint programs) must register.

If a candidate does not register their chosen major, for which they have met the admission criteria, into the Ministry of Education and Training's system, it means the candidate forfeits their right to be admitted.

Candidates who graduated from high school before 2024 but have not yet registered their personal information on the system must register to be granted an account to use for registering their college application preferences.

Before 5 PM on August 19th, the university will announce the official admission results for candidates applying to the university in 2024. After the official announcement of the admission results, successful candidates are required to confirm their enrollment online through the Ministry of Education and Training's system and the University of Transport's system.
