In contrast to the sluggish market, MFS shares of MobiFone Technical Services Joint Stock Company (MobiFone Service) hit the ceiling price just one hour after opening on January 13, reaching VND42,500/share. This is the highest price range since July 2024.

The move to increase the ceiling price of MobiFone Service shares follows the news that the parent company, MobiFone Telecommunications Corporation, plans to transfer to the Ministry of Public Security for management, according to the plan just reported by the Ministry of Home Affairs to the Government.
MobiFone Service was established in 2008, operating in the field of construction and leasing of BTS stations, customer care via phone, installation and maintenance of telecommunications equipment... The company's main partner is MobiFone Telecommunications Corporation.

Currently, the corporation is the largest shareholder, holding 31.26% of shares at MobiFone Service.
Regarding business results, in 2023, MobiFone Service recorded revenue of VND 396.9 billion and profit after tax of VND 20.3 billion.
In 2024, MobiFone Service plans to do business backwards with revenue of more than 395.4 billion and after-tax profit of more than 15 billion VND, down 2.6% and 26% respectively compared to the previous year.
The management believes that the business situation is facing many difficulties due to the declining trend in revenue from core services, and the increase in regional minimum wages causing a sharp increase in labor costs.
Recently, on December 23, 2024, Mobifone Service spent 18 billion VND to pay the 2023 dividend at a rate of 25%, lower than the 30% rate of 2022.
In terms of personnel, at the extraordinary meeting held in November 2024, the General Meeting of Shareholders approved the dismissal of Mr. Tuong Duy Phuc from the Board of Directors. At the same time, Ms. Dinh Hoa Mai was appointed as a member of the Board of Directors for the 2023-2028 term.
The Board of Directors then appointed Ms. Dinh Hoa Mai as Chairwoman of Mobifone Service from November 20.
