Computex 2026, held from June 2-5 in Taipei, solidified its position as the region's leading technology exhibition with over 1,500 exhibitors and 6,000 booths. With the main theme "AI Together," this year's event was not just a showcase of technical specifications but focused deeply on the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into all hardware devices, from personal computers to specialized workstations.
ASUS and its mobile AI ecosystem strategy
ASUS was one of the most active exhibitors at the show, showcasing a wide range of products. The highlight was the ExpertBook Ultra laptop, aimed at professional users who need versatility. It boasts a powerful configuration with an Intel Core Ultra X9 processor and integrated AI Boost NPU for AI processing performance reaching 50 TOPS. The impressive feature is its 14-inch Tandem OLED display with 3K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, while weighing only 0.99 kg and measuring just 10.9 mm thin.

In addition, ASUS surprised everyone with the Ascent GX10, a personal AI computer boasting petaflop computing power. Designed for agent-based AI applications, this device integrates an Nvidia GB10 Grace Blackwell chip with 128 GB of unified storage. The company also introduced the Ascent QN10, a mini PC using the Snapdragon X2 Elite chip with an 80 TOPS NPU, demonstrating a diverse range of hardware platform options to optimize artificial intelligence tasks.
Nvidia's supercomputer and its internal AI ambitions.
Not content with just processor chips, Nvidia has taken the race to the next level with the introduction of the DGX Station. This is considered the world's most powerful AI desktop supercomputer for Windows. The system features a GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra GPU, combined with a 72-core Nvidia Grace CPU and up to 748 GB of internal memory. Its FP4 computing performance reaches an astonishing 20 petaflops.

Notably, DGX Station integrates SuperNIC ConnectX-8, supporting 800 Gb/second networks, enabling on-premise processing of AI models with up to 1 trillion parameters. This solution helps businesses deploy AI internally at high speed without relying on cloud infrastructure, ensuring maximum data security and privacy.
Widespread AI adoption with affordable chips and Intel's progress in the handheld market.
In the mainstream segment, Qualcomm introduced the Snapdragon C (Compute) chip series. The goal of this series is to optimize costs by using Kryo cores similar to those in older phone models, while still ensuring multitasking capabilities and long battery life. The Snapdragon C is expected to help bring the price of AI-powered Windows laptops down to the $300 range, directly competing with MacBook Neo models.

Meanwhile, Intel also responded by entering the handheld gaming market with the Arc G3 and Arc G3 Extreme. Developed on the Panther Lake architecture, these chips boast 14 CPU cores and an integrated GPU based on the latest Xe3 architecture. The top-of-the-line Arc G3 Extreme can achieve 113 TOPS AI performance, supports XeSS 3 technology and Wi-Fi 7, promising a top-tier gaming experience on devices like the Acer Predator Atlas 8 and MSI Claw 8 EX AI Plus.

Breakthroughs in display and hardware infrastructure.
At Computex 2026, MSI showcased the MPG OLED 322URDX36 monitor, capable of seamlessly switching between three display modes: 4K (360 Hz), 2K (520 Hz), and 1080p (680 Hz). Utilizing a next-generation OLED panel from Samsung with Penta-Tandem technology, this monitor effectively eliminates color fringing and achieves a maximum HDR brightness of 1,500 nits.

In terms of computer components, Corsair impresses with its 4R CUDIMM RAM module boasting a capacity of up to 256 GB on a single stick. A notable feature is the inclusion of a Vortex water cooling system and an integrated clock speed controller directly on the module, ensuring stable performance at extremely high speeds, meeting the demanding requirements of AI and heavy graphics tasks.

Computex 2026 not only showcased the remarkable advancements in hardware but also demonstrated how AI is permeating every aspect of technological life, from inexpensive laptops to the most powerful supercomputers.
