The weapons and explosives destroyed included: 114 firearms of various types, including 3 muzzle-loading guns, 17 air guns, 82 homemade alcohol-powered air guns, and 12 homemade PCP-type guns; 208 gun components; 73 electric shock devices; 85 prohibited dangerous toys; 52 kg of firecrackers; 6 kg of precursors for firecracker manufacturing; 9,900 lead bullets; and 18 knives and swords…
The police seized 52 kg of fireworks and 6 kg of precursors for manufacturing fireworks.
These weapons and supporting tools were seized by the Huong Son District Police and the police of 25 communes and towns through arrests, administrative inspections, and surrenders by the people through propaganda and mobilization efforts.
After inspection and classification, the weapons and explosives were destroyed according to proper procedures, under the strict supervision of the destruction council, ensuring absolute safety.
