On June 19th, the Dien Bien Provincial Police Department held a ceremony to announce the decision of the Minister of Public Security regarding personnel matters.
Attending the ceremony were Comrade Le Van Luong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Major General Dao Hong Son, Deputy Director of the Department of Investigation of Crimes related to Corruption, Economics , and Smuggling, Ministry of Public Security; and Colonel Vu Thanh Tung, Director of the Lang Son Provincial Police.
Major General Vu Van Dau, Director of the Dien Bien Provincial Police, presided over the ceremony.

At the ceremony, on behalf of the Minister of Public Security, Major General Vu Van Dau presented the Decision appointing Colonel Le Duc Truong, Head of the Department for Prevention and Investigation of Economic and Corruption Crimes in the fields of culture, health, education and media under the Department of Investigation of Crimes related to Corruption, Economics, and Smuggling, Ministry of Public Security, to the position of Deputy Director of Dien Bien Provincial Police.
Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Vu Van Dau expressed his confidence that: With many years of experience working in units under the Ministry of Public Security, Colonel Le Duc Truong will quickly adapt to the area, utilize his abilities and strengths, and together with the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the Provincial Public Security Department, lead and direct the Dien Bien Public Security force to successfully complete the task of ensuring security and order in the area.
Colonel Le Duc Truong (born in 1974), originally from Thien Loc commune, Hanoi, joined the People's Public Security Force in 1998. He has held various positions in professional departments of the Ministry of Public Security, with his expertise and strengths focusing on investigation and prevention of economic crimes, corruption, health, culture, and media.
