On November 25th, Samsung Vietnam Complex and the Junior Achievement Vietnam (JA Vietnam) organization held the Final Round and Award Ceremony of the 5th Solve for Tomorrow competition to find outstanding technology innovation projects that contribute to solving social and local problems.

Solve for Tomorrow 2023 attracted nearly 150,000 student and teacher registrations, receiving 2,266 entries – double the number from 2022.
The Solve for Tomorrow 2023 Final Round featured a competition among 10 outstanding teams from various provinces and cities across the country, including 5 teams from Group A (Junior High School) and 5 teams from Group B (High School), with projects covering diverse fields from environment and education to healthcare and wellness.
After a lively competition, with outstanding ideas, highly applicable product models, and compelling presentations, the First Prize – a STEM LAB classroom for the winning team, 30 million VND in cash for the team, and a Samsung product worth 30 million VND for each team member (including contestants and supervising teachers) – was awarded to the Cau Duc Hamlet team from Thuan An Secondary School, Hau Giang Province, for their project "Research, Design and Fabrication of Agro Robot - Monitoring, Supervising, and Evaluating the Health Status of Rice-Growing Soil in Long My District, Hau Giang Province" (Category A) and the Mindful Medical Brain team from Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, Hanoi, for their project "MedIQ - Smart Medical Box Applying IoT Platform and Management Software System" (Category B).
In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded 2 Second Prizes, 6 Third Prizes, 10 Consolation Prizes, 2 People's Choice Awards, and 30 prizes for the Online Training Round. The total value of the prizes amounted to nearly 8 billion VND.

"Youth are a generation with unlimited potential, and this is also the generation that can offer solutions to the problems we face, such as the common good for humanity, environmental protection, and building a safe society... Therefore, we need to constantly pay attention to and support them so that the spontaneous ideas of the younger generation can develop into creative problem-solving abilities," said Mr. Choi Joo Ho, General Director of Samsung Vietnam Complex, at the ceremony.
"Furthermore, this is also the time when Vietnam needs to promote STEM education to increase the nation's competitiveness. Samsung will always stand alongside Vietnam and strive to implement technology human resource development programs such as Solve for Tomorrow and Samsung Innovation Campus."
The Solve for Tomorrow 2023 competition, launched in April 2023, is open to middle and high school students aged 12 to 18. Its aim is to encourage students to apply STEM education knowledge related to science , technology, engineering, and mathematics to address existing social problems.
After 5 years of organization, the Solve For Tomorrow competition has attracted more than 300,000 students and teachers to register, receiving nearly 5200 entries, contributing to the popularization of STEM education, and further promoting activities aimed at nurturing technology talent in Vietnam.
