
Pha Rung Shipbuilding Company Limited (Pha Rung Company) recently handed over a 13,000-ton oil and chemical tanker named “BS NGHI SON” to its owner, and simultaneously performed the steel cutting ceremony to commence construction of the new vessel 13K-YN08.
The vessel “BS NGHI SON” is a 13,000-ton (Handysize) oil and chemical tanker designed by Fesdec (South Korea) and classified by KR Classification Society (South Korea). The ship has an overall length of 128.6 m, a width of 20.4 m, a hull height of 11.5 m, and a draft of 8.7 m.
After construction, testing, and completion, the vessel fully met the technical and quality requirements of the contract and was handed over to the shipowner for operation. This product affirms the capabilities of Pha Rung Shipbuilding Company Limited in the field of building new oil and chemical tankers with high technical requirements.
Immediately after the handover ceremony, Pha Rung Shipbuilding Company Limited organized the cutting of steel plates for the oil and chemical tanker 13K-YN08.
The handover ceremony of the 13K-YN04 “BS NGHI SON” vessel and the cutting of the steel plates for the 13K-YN08 vessel marks another step in the production and business activities of Pha Rung Shipbuilding Company Limited, contributing to affirming the enterprise's position in the Vietnamese shipbuilding industry.
